Resulting from a Terres Fortin-Daigle project and still attached to it, the Spika farm is proud to participate in enhancing the food of Quebecers and Canadians by producing exotic peppers in our beautiful Nordic country.

Since 2020, no synthetic inputs, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides have been used in our crops and we refine our techniques year after year to incorporate more ecological ways of managing our crops. An application for organic certification is in progress for this purpose.

Ferme Spika aims to make available a wide variety of hot peppers and other spicy products to make the adventure of spiciness accessible to the greatest number of palates, gourmet or not.

During my first full season in charge of our young farm, a man, a taxi driver, stopped and looked at me with a discouraged expression and said to me: ''My food tastes nothing''. After giving him 3 peppers by making him promise to come back, I realized that this meeting had just given all the meaning to the existence of our young company.
